I LIVE

Alright folks, not sure if anyone is alive out there, but here it goes.

I'm Silas, the "sprite... er... enthusiast..?" that sometimes makes things for Barrey. Ages ago I said I'd help keep him on track, and then I wound up getting treatment at my former place of employment metaphorically akin to the treatment one of Barreytor's characters... During that duration, I was working 9 to 16 hour shifts, some starting at 7 PM, some starting at 3AM, and some traditionally or legally requiring two or more people but instead consisting of uh... Me.

Needless to say that, plus the normal crap life throws at you (repairing dead cars, fixing a flooded basement, family emergencies, or trying to find that rare moment where I don't work so I don't go on a murderous rampage...) I may have... Lost track of Barrey. Please, don't shoot me..? Actually that's a lie, I'll even dig my own grave, buy you the gun, and a pizza to boot. Tomorrow at five sound good..?

And now back to our regularly unscheduled shenaniganery...

Silas Update:

Long story short, we've begun working on some stuff. In particular, I've been fixing up Barreytor's Blog, his Discord Server, creating new sprites, and in particular working on a rather massive paperdoll project that should give Barrey extensive control over the content for one game we have slated for release someday. If there's one thing Barrey is good at... It's finding yet more elaborate ways for me to help him pin a dick on the girl... (ノ"ಠ_ಠ)ノ︵/(.□ . \)  Goddamnit, Barrey...

As a reminder, just in case anyone would like to complain about my quality of work. I'm doing this for free at the moment. Partially out of spite, as I swear every time I see one of these game developers commissioning someone to make sprites, they get utter trash both in regards to quantity and quality for a whopping $50 or $100 bill. I said, "Screw that, give me two hours and I can nuke that." In hindsight... I probably should have at least requested a beer...

I should note as well that I'll be moving soon, and I'm still partially renovating a home for someone, and may wind up needing to renovate one for myself in the near future. I will not be taking anyone's money and then providing horrifying examples of customer service and leaving the community for dead. I apologize in advance if things don't always pan out well, if at all, as we're just kind of two dudes and whatever free time we can get our hands on. In other news I'm glad I didn't buy Fallout 76, unlike many of my friends, and I sometimes watch YongYea amongst other gaming news channels while sipping some tea... Subtle plugs, as always... (What was that, 24 links directly slamming Bethesda..? Oops. I appeared to have spilled some of my salt... Thank goodness that wasn't about EA Games or I'd have needed to put links on every word in this blog...)

Barreytor Update:

Barrey has been popping out CGs and Tech Demos for me while I wasn't around and as a result we're pretty backlogged. Think we've spent the last month axing one project or another, either because he forgot what he was working on and got sidetracked by another bigger pair of tits he could render, or by his job and day to day nonsense like helping out family. Think it took him about three days to upload it all..? Best not quote me on that...

There's a lot of older content, and some newer content as he's switched rendering models and acquired/bought some new assets he's been experimenting around with.

What's more, there is a game that should be coming out in about a week-ish (Let's just say a month just knowing how this sort of thing goes) that's really just more there to get him rolling again.
(~‾▿‾)~ *:・゚✧

Dreadfully sorry about the delay. I'm not dead... Sadly (Better luck next time, right?)

Sincerely,
A Very Salty Boi.

P.S. To help cut the salt. I'd like to take this moment to give a kudos to Shinya Takahashi, Shigeru Miyamoto, Satoru Iwata, and other key Nintendo officials who have... Taken the time to properly communicate with their players, cut their own pay instead of someone else's, and done other wonderful things for the gaming community. Nintendo is far from perfect, but boy is it hard to tell some days when you look at some of the competition or lack there off...
P.S. Here's an oldy Barrey made awhile back and slapped a bow on as a hm... "handy gift."
